"My Second Semester Freshman Year!!!!!" by Ally Chavis

We have now been at HHS for one whole fun pack semester but now it’s time for the second semester. Hartford High School has been educating students in all subjects making the school eco friendly and posting new art every year. As a freshman you must take 6 course which in clues Cultural Geography, freshman seminar, academic enrichment/ tech enrichment, physical science, math corse, health/ gym.   

This is me in hallway waiting for the bell to ring for break. Break is a time to get food or a drink from the cafeteria. It is also a time to get to see all your friends you normally don’t. Another reason they have break is for students to get work they hadn’t gotten done the night before.

This is the senior hall way at Hartford. This hallway is usually packed with Seniors, when you try to get through this hallway you can barely fit especially after a pep rally. 

This class is for freshman only you have to take this class to graduate at Hartford. Mrs. Lemieux will sometimes have guessed speakers come in and present something. This day was one of those times where Lemieux had a person present a product to us and tell us about how it worked, and how the company came to be and how the company works. Usually Mrs. Lemieux will be teaching us about 1 out of 4 subjects, nutrition, tobacco, drugs, or sex-ed.  The shapes on the left side of the picture are two of my class mates dressed up in what the workers normally wear everyday at the company where the speaker worked at.

 

This is some of the art a Hartford. The School got the art from a former student at Hartford. This artist has become an artist after the four years at Hartford. The school had to pay 2,000 dollars to get such magnificent pieces. The point to get these pieces was to make our school more interesting.
